This beach is located at the end of Young Avenue off Highway 1 in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County. Young Ave. is located north of the Highway 1 / Highway 92 intersection. Enter the gate for Half Moon Bay State Beach and follow signs to Dunes Beach (south of Roosevelt Beach). Park in the southern end of the lot, near the trail. To reach the monitoring site, walk over the dunes to the end of the trail that leads from the parking lot to the beach.
