Rocky Intertidal Monitoring

The Rocky Intertidal Monitoring Program is an in-depth education and citizen science monitoring program high school students, educators, and volunteer groups.

Our participants are trained to survey key invertebrate and algal species at established monitoring sites along the coast of California. All data is entered into the LiMPETS online database.

The collection of LiMPETS data information is authorized under the OMB Control Number included in the Citizen Science & Crowdsourcing Information Collection page.
