Salinas River State Beach is at the south end of Moss Landing, a tiny town along Highway 1. From either north or southbound Highway 1, take the Potrero Road turn towards the beach. There is a little mini market at the corner and the restaurant Charlie Mosses there as well. Go all the way to the end of the road and park in the lot. This location as well as the Salinas River Beach south site can be a target for thefts. Do not leave anything in the car.

To get to the site, walk over the dunes along the trail to the beach. Turn left at the beach and walk along the water for approximately ¼ mile. It should take you no longer than 5-10 minutes to reach the site.

Parking:

Parking lot is at the end of Potrero Road. This location as well as the Salinas River Beach south site can be a target for thefts; do not leave anything in the car.

Restrooms:

Portable toilets are in the parking lot at the end of the road. The condition of the toilets is usually good, but cannot be guaranteed.
