Site description:
The site is across the stream that runs near to the road. This is a very flat beach with lovely sand. Since this beach is flat, the rising tide can cover the entire beach quickly. This is a well-traveled site, especially on the weekend and after work during the week; therefore it is best to monitor during the week.
Permit and visitor information:
No permit is necessary for monitoring; however collecting of any sort is illegal without a scientific collecting permit or fishing license. Since this is a State Park, it is best to notify the rangers that you will be on the beach with a group of students: 831-646-6440.
